News update April 8th: I finally finished writing up my series of posts about Computer Science with First Grade. Read about our final presentations, and play my students’ games here! Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4 and part 5 are still up if you missed them. Sessions 1 and 2 can be taught with or without access to iPads or computers, contain all the printables and instructions required to teach computer science to complete beginners in your classroom and are easily extendable into multiple sessions. To keep updated on new resources and blog posts, follow me on Twitter to get notified when new posts go up.

It’s not all computer science though, I recently added some simple phonics printables and resources for encouraging students to compete against themselves, not each other.

Thanks everyone for all your support in 2013 – it was by far my busiest year on E.Y.E. with a ton of new visitors and subscribers. Most popular resources were literacy activities on The Snowman by Raymond Briggs, resources on vowels, and Elmer’s Colors.

If you have any requests for future resources, please get in touch. Thanks for your support!
